ช่อง TvN ซึ่งเป็นเคเบิ้ลของเกาหลี จะทำรายการ Opera Star 2011 ซึ่งเอามาจากรายการ Popstar to Opera Star ของอังกฤษ เป็นรายการเรียลลิตี้ที่เทรนนักร้องเพลงป๊อปให้เป็นนักร้องโอเปร่า
โดยจะเป็นรายการสดตลอด 6 สัปดาห์ มีนักร้องชื่อดังร่วมแข่งขัน 8 คน และให้ผู้ชมทางบ้านโหวตเข้ามาได้ คนที่เหลือสุดท้ายจะได้รางวัลใหญ่ มีกำหนดฉายฤดูใบไม้ผลินี้
